Our Vision
Our vision is to create a network of locations to foster well-being on various levels.
- Well-being in a sense to enhance physical well-being by elements of yoga, dance, movement activities and relaxing therapies like meditations, massages, healing.
- Well-being in a sense to enhance mental well-being by providing spaces to create and exhibit all kind of arts.
- Well-being in a sense to enhance mental well-being by providing spaces to create music including recording and mixing possibilities. There will also be possibilities to present music.

The outside of the locations will be used to create relaxing gardens with the possibilities to grow food, herbs and flowers. We aim to build an international network of interested people in those fields fostering the exchange and growing of ideas and activities/products in those areas.
Our locations at the beginning will be in Luxembourg; Luxembourg city center: Main house (yoga/dance/movement studio, 2 therapy rooms, lounge to exhibit art and for events), garden house (art atelier with sleeping possibility including kitchen, toilet and shower, music studio), and an outside garden.
And in Finland: On the island Nauvo in Krok: Main house with 2 bedrooms and large attic atelier, sauna house, storage house, outside garden. There is an additional space currently created on the far away island Lökholm with 6 hectares space and a daily ferry connection.
Our Residency Program
Providing the house as an artist in residence “free of charge” for the below purposes:
- Creating art in the attic atelier
- Creating music in the attic atelier
- Writing in the rooms downstairs or in the attic atelier
- Doing events inside and outside
- Providing workshops inside and outside
- Providing retreats inside and outside

In exchange for that the artist could “compensate” with:
Providing and implementing a concept for the outside garden and outside premises
Doing gardening work
Beautify the inside of outside of the main house, sauna house or storage houses
Leave some art in the residence in- or outside and/or provide it to the owner
“Free of charge” includes:
Free overnight stays and usage of all rooms including kitchen and sauna
Free supply of electricity and warm and cold running water
Potentially, a free usage of a car can be arranged for a limited period. However the artist have to take care about fueling the car.
Food has to be arranged and paid by the residents themselves. There a 2 supermarkets in Nauvo town.

Krok
Free Housing
Be an artist in residence in the islands of Finland
Krok is an idyllic place on the island of Nauvo, right in the middle of nature
Surrounded by Nature
Feel at home! The house is located not too far away from the street, but isolated enough to not get disturbed.
Big Attic Atelier available
The house has a big atelier available in the attic with excellent lighting due to large windows, as well as a movable table and a sink.
Sleeping Rooms
There are 2 bedrooms with enough space for up to 5 people.
Sauna
There is a separate sauna house available
How to Arrive
The island is accessible via a free ferry connection which runs every 15 minutes during high season. You can arrive with your own car or by bus from Helsinki city or airport to the island Nauvo. Pick-ups from the closed bus station in Nauvo can be organized for a fee of 10-20€. Free rides can be arranged if the neighbor goes to the main island too, e.g. for shopping.

Lökholm

There is the possibilities to do short trips (minimum stay: one night due to ferry connection) on the remote island Lökholm. Currently, this is rather for recreation and events as a larger house will be built here by the end of 2024. Rather now for “camping style”
Island in the middle of the ocean
Lökholm is a two hour ferry trip away from the mainland and part of the Archipelago National Park
Free ferry connection
There is regular and free ferry connection. You can even order food from the local supermarket brought by the ferry.
Camping and roofing possibility
You can camp on the property or use the sheds for sleepings.

There is a traditional sauna house on the property

Kvivlax (Mainly for Retreats)

This location is mainly available for retreats. However, there is also the possibility for the artist in residence concept. Kindly apply and ask for more details. Krok and Kvivlax are 10 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes by bike. Those locations can be combined for specific projects and events.

Retreat possibility
For retreats or events this location can be combined with Krok, 10 minutes waling distance.

Cultural Immersion
Be an artist in residence in the cultural center of Luxembourg
By the end of 2024 there will be also an artist and muscian in residence available in Luxemembourg. The premises will incude one atelier to produce art and one fully equiped music studio. There is also a sleeping possibility with kitchenette.
